R & D Family Shoot

some of my favorite humans ever. we met through a mutual friend and it really was love at first meet. it was a bachelorette party we were at and we needed to drive home together. we talked the entire 2.5 hours home and the ride went so fast. when our significant others met, it was rad that they felt the same connection. we've watched them promise their forever and welcome new life. and now i get to take their pictures.

Ayla Stone 

this little chunker came out a huge TEN pounds. 

naturally, all she wanted to do, was eat. 

and eat she did.

 i'm glad we got her off the milk for some great shots. 

-- Winter Solstice --

this winter solstice, we celebrated with some much needed girl time. We made winter wreaths with fresh stems, a needle and thread. NOT recommended using needle and thread but the plan was last minute as emotions for a tween ran high and low. 

I took a few pictures and the honey light that Mother Nature provided was insane. We took them in my daughters room and wow. I can't even handle how much I love them. ZERO filter on this candid spin around shot.

I love that the corners are naturally vignette and the refection from items in room caused almost a rain bowed wall effect.
